Agreement

Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to the Meridian website, global sandbox, accounts, APIs, and any future paid service order that incorporates them.

Effective 3 August 2026Version 1.0English controlling version
Pre-production notice. Meridian is operated by Milos Topic as an individual operator in Serbia and currently runs as a global sandbox with synthetic data. No production data exchange, participant payout, or paid production service is activated. Correspondence address: Kosmajska 002, 11036 Belgrade, Serbia.

1. Acceptance and operator

By accessing or using Meridian Data Exchange (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. The Service is a pre-incorporation project offered by Milos Topic, an individual operator in Serbia, through meridiandataexchange.com (“Meridian”, “we”, “us”). Correspondence address: Kosmajska 002, 11036 Belgrade, Serbia. Contact: office@meridiandataexchange.com.

If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Sandbox and production boundary

The current environment uses synthetic data and simulated EUR/USD financial flows. It is not approved for real personal data, special-category data, production decisions, real participant rewards, or regulated use. Labels such as earnings, balances, payouts, verification, approvals, and certifications are demonstrations unless Meridian expressly confirms production activation in writing.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your identity-provider account, and notify us of suspected compromise. You may not share privileged access or bypass role, tenant, consent, safety, or rate-limit controls. Individual participation is limited to adults unless a production jurisdiction and verified age/guardian workflow explicitly permit otherwise.

4. Permitted use

You may evaluate the Service, build authorized integrations, and use features made available to your role. You must not introduce real personal data into the sandbox; scrape or re-identify data; test security without written authorization; upload malware; infringe rights; misrepresent consent; use outputs for eligibility, employment, credit, insurance, healthcare, law enforcement, or other high-impact decisions; or use the Service unlawfully.

5. Organization responsibilities

Organizations remain responsible for their purposes, lawful basis, notices, instructions, requested fields, retention, recipients, jurisdictional compliance, and responses to data-subject requests. Production processing requires an approved organization, applicable order form, DPA, jurisdiction review, security review, and configured providers. Meridian may reject, narrow, pause, or terminate any request that creates unacceptable legal, privacy, security, or operational risk.

6. Data and permissions

You retain rights in data you provide. You grant Meridian only the rights needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service under these Terms and documented instructions. A person's consent is specific to the stated purpose, fields, duration, recipient, and terms; it can be declined or withdrawn for future processing. Consent in the product is not a substitute for any other lawful basis or obligation required by law.

7. Plans, billing, Paddle, cancellation, and refunds

Meridian offers Starter, Growth, and Scale subscriptions. The current base prices are EUR 19, EUR 49, and EUR 99 per month. Annual subscriptions are charged in advance at EUR 182.40, EUR 470.40, and EUR 950.40 respectively, representing a 20% reduction compared with twelve monthly payments. The applicable plan, billing period, currency, tax, renewal terms, and final total are displayed before checkout confirmation.

Paddle acts as merchant of record for transactions it processes, and Paddle's checkout terms and privacy information also apply. Recurring subscriptions renew for the selected monthly or annual period until canceled through the method provided at purchase or the Paddle customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally reverse a period already supplied. We may change future prices or plan contents with reasonable advance notice; a changed recurring price applies only as permitted by law and Paddle's subscription process.

Meridian's Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and explains the applicable request windows, duplicate or erroneous charge handling, and how refunds are returned. Where mandatory consumer law grants withdrawal, refund, or other rights, those rights prevail. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Participant rewards

Customer subscription billing is separate from participant compensation. Paddle settlement to Meridian's Payoneer account is Meridian business revenue, not participant money. If activated, participant rewards will use a separately approved Payoneer Mass Payouts arrangement, with verified recipients, sanctions controls, tax treatment, payout reconciliation, dispute procedures, and additional participant terms. A normal Payoneer receiving account is not sufficient. Real participant rewards remain disabled until Payoneer and Meridian expressly approve the production payout program.

9. Intellectual property

Meridian and its licensors own the Service, software, design, documentation, trademarks, and non-customer materials. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as made available. Feedback may be used without restriction, but Meridian will not publicly identify you as its source without permission.

10. Confidentiality and security

Each party will protect confidential information with reasonable care and use it only for the relationship. Meridian implements layered technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is risk-free. You must promptly report suspected vulnerabilities or incidents to office@meridiandataexchange.com and must not publicly disclose them before reasonable remediation coordination.

11. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may change evaluation features, correct errors, impose limits, or suspend access to protect people, the Service, or legal compliance. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable. You may stop using the sandbox at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive—including intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, and dispute terms—continue after termination.

12. Disclaimers

The sandbox is provided “as is” and “as available” for evaluation. To the extent permitted by law, Meridian disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and accuracy. Synthetic demonstrations are not legal, financial, compliance, or professional advice.

13. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct. For the free sandbox, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Meridian is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for decisions made from synthetic outputs. Paid-service liability limits will be stated in the signed order and will not reduce mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.

14. Governing law and disputes

Until a legal entity and production contracting jurisdiction are confirmed, these sandbox Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without prejudice to mandatory protections available in your country. The parties should first attempt good-faith resolution by contacting office@meridiandataexchange.com. Competent Serbian courts have jurisdiction where mandatory law does not require another forum.

15. Changes and contact

Material updates will receive a new effective date. Continued use after notice means acceptance where permitted; otherwise we may request renewed acceptance. Questions and legal notices may be sent to office@meridiandataexchange.com.
